Pub (by PSEH CAMRA)
Historical village free house in a village still privately owned. The car park accommodates a Britstop Motorhome Area . The award-winning food can be enjoyed in the bar or the separate dining room. Every Tuesday is jazz night and the last Sunday in the month is Folk night. Guest beers are usually sourced from within 30 miles.

Nearby Southwick House was the centre of planning Operation Overlord in the Second World War and the pub was visited by many of those involved including Generals Eisenhower and Montgomery. The lounge bar was the unofficial Officers' Mess during that period. The village, apart from Church Lodge, is owned by Southwick Estates which is why the pub has a dark red front door in common with all the other properties thus owned.
