A two bar street corner local which is where the local CAMRA branch was founded. Both bars have bare wooden floorboards. The smaller lounge holds memorabilia commemorating the pub's name whilst the public bar is decorated with photos of the city's past. The pub also offers toasties, pork pies and pickled eggs.
