Superb traditional split-level community pub with a large enclosed garden. It is traditionally furnished with a number of military themed paintings on the walls.Supports both darts and pool teams, and several other traditional pub games are played. Slightly out of the way, but only 5 minutes walk from Fratton Park, it can get very busy on match days but is welcoming to away supporters.

At least one beer is dispensed by a handpump-like device that controls gas used to dispense the beer. We do not know how this works or if the gas is applied to the beer in the cask.
