Dating from the 18th century, this pub was later named for the first Baron Raglan, who achieved much military success in the 19th century. It is a quintessential community pub with low ceilings and wall lighting, quiet with no machines or loud background music. The extensive pub garden backs onto the moorings of Slipper Mill Pond and plays host in the summer to barbecues and live music events.
