A comfortable single bar pub close to the harbour. Its name is derived from its use for local farmers to trade produce with coal delivered by sea. Although no longer commercial, the harbour is a popular sailing venue and for coastal walks. In addition to award-winning lunchtime food there are a number of themed evening dining options are available most weekday evenings (see the pub's web site for times). A charity beer tent & music festival is held in summer. Minimum £4.50 card payment.
