This welcoming 17th century privately owned free house continues to gain in popularity for its excellent ales and high quality food. A real fire and cosy snug add to the friendly atmosphere. Food is available every day in the bar and separate restaurant. Steaks feature on Tuesday evenings and roasts are available every Sunday. Check the website for latest information. Regular beer festivals are held summer and winter.
